1. Information We Collect

Account information

When you create an account, we collect your email address and password (stored as a secure hash). If you sign up with a third-party provider, we receive your name and email from that provider.

Usage data

We collect information about how you use the Service, including: text prompts you submit, visualization types you select, refinement requests, export settings, and general interaction patterns (pages visited, features used, timestamps).

Payment information

Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full credit card number. Stripe provides us with a token, card brand, last four digits, and expiration date for display purposes. See Stripe’s Privacy Policy for details on their data handling.

Automatically collected data

Like most web services, we collect standard log data: IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URL, and device information. We also collect analytics data through Google Analytics (see Section 4 and Section 7 for details).

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
  • Process your prompts through AI models to generate visualizations.
  • Process payments and manage your subscription or credit balance.
  • Send transactional emails (account confirmation, billing receipts, password resets).
  • Monitor for abuse and enforce our Terms of Service.
  • Analyze usage patterns to improve the product (in aggregate, not individually).

3. AI Data Processing

When you submit a prompt, it is sent to Anthropic’s Claude API for processing. Anthropic processes this data according to their Privacy Policy. Key points:

  • Your prompts are sent to Anthropic to generate visualization specifications.
  • We use Anthropic’s API, which does not use your inputs for model training by default.
  • Generated output (visualization structure and animation data) is stored on our servers to enable editing, refinement, and re-export.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services that may process your data:

  • Stripe — payment processing (card data, billing address, transaction records). See Stripe’s Privacy Policy.
  • Anthropic (Claude) — AI model provider (text prompts and generated outputs). See Anthropic’s Privacy Policy.
  • Google Analytics — website analytics (page views, session duration, device and browser information, geographic region). Data is collected via cookies and processed by Google. See Google’s Privacy Policy.
  • Sentry — error monitoring and performance tracking (error stack traces, browser and device metadata, IP address). Used to identify and fix bugs. See Sentry’s Privacy Policy.

Each provider operates under their own privacy policy. We only share the minimum data necessary for each service to function.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data and generated visualizations for as long as your account is active. Exported MP4 files are stored on our servers and available for download.

If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or compliance purposes.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Delete your account and associated data.
  • Export your data in a portable format.
  • Object to certain types of processing.
  • Restrict processing in specific circumstances.

7. Cookies & Tracking

We use the following types of cookies and tracking technologies:

  • Essential cookies: Authentication session tokens required for the Service to function.
  • Analytics cookies: Google Analytics uses cookies to collect anonymized usage data (pages visited, session duration, general geographic region). This helps us understand how the Service is used and identify areas for improvement. You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

We do not use advertising cookies or sell your data to advertisers.

8. Children’s Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the European Union). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If we learn that we have collected data from a child under the applicable age, we will promptly delete it.

9. International Data Transfers

Your data may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. We take appropriate safeguards to ensure your data is protected in accordance with this policy and applicable data protection laws.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on this page and updating the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
