How to Turn Your Video Script into Animated Infographics Automatically

Figuring out which moments in a script need a data visual is slower than it sounds. You read through a finished script and try to spot every number, location, comparison, or trend that would be clearer with an animation. Then you decide what format each one needs. Then you build them, one by one, usually mid-edit.

How the analysis works

Moshion scans the script for moments that reference a number, location, comparison, proportion, or sequence of events. These are the moments where a chart, map, or timeline adds more than narration alone can.

For each flagged moment, it suggests a visualization type matched to what the script is saying. A sentence about a trend over time gets a line chart. A comparison between countries gets a bar chart or an animated map. A single statistic gets a stat callout. A sequence of events gets a timeline.

You review the list, approve the ones that fit, skip the ones that do not, and Moshion generates the selected animations. Each one exports as an MP4.

What gets suggested

The suggestions depend on what the script actually says, not on a fixed template.

A line like "coal consumption in China peaked in 2013 and has declined every year since" would trigger a line chart. A reference to "the five countries with the highest per capita emissions" would trigger a bar chart. A geographic reference would trigger an animated map.

The visual types available through script analysis:

• Animated maps: country highlights, regional comparisons, route traces
• Bar charts: rankings, category comparisons, before and after data
• Line charts: trends over time, multi-series comparisons

Step by step

1. Paste your script into Moshion or upload a document.

What it does not do

It does not generate visuals that need custom data input, such as a chart built from your own spreadsheet numbers. For those, you describe the data directly in Moshion rather than going through the script analysis.

And it works best when the script is specific. A line like "emissions rose significantly" gives the analysis less to work with than "emissions rose from 4.2 to 6.8 gigatons between 2010 and 2023."
